On 9 June 2025, the United Nations Headquarters in New York convened a thematic dialogue to commemorate the first International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations. The session was presided over by Ambassador Fu Cong, China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and included addresses by Miguel ?ngel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, as well as representatives from various Member States.
More than 200 participants, including UN officials, diplomats, scholars, and experts, attended the event.
